FishermanOwl   10 #1 Posted July 18, 2017 I' new here (Forum and area!), looking for advice!  Has anyone been fishing on the River Rother, Catcliffe stretch recently? I want to head out there, but I'm unsure if it's worth my time, and where about to go? I'd look at parking just on the layby past JTF. better alongside the road, or going up along the bank side?  Not looking for big catches, but some nice decent fish such as Perch, Dace etc would be nice. We lived on South View Terrace and often got the flood water in the house.
 Share this content via...
Danny_Boy   10 #3 Posted July 18, 2017 I can't answer your question directly as I don't fish myself, but looking at how many times I drive past and see people parking up and getting fishing tackle out there must be some fish in there. Bricky1 Â Â 10 #4 Posted July 24, 2017 Try Woodhouse Mill mate. Free fishing and big barbel are coming out below the roadbridge . Walk upstream on Princess Royal side too and if you wear Polaroids you'll see fish all along the length. Over run at moment too with signal crayfish.. probably why chub are getting big
 Share this content via...
