I always go out without a tripod - I've been made lazy :)

 

I do want a lightweight tripod. At present I have a Manfrotto 55XPROB and a heavy duty joystick head and it's like carrying a scafolding pole around with you.

Luckily I was in the car when I shot this so just had to lug it from the boot!

Paul, you already know that I am a fan of your work. I just think you have to be careful of overkill with HDR unless you are specifically doing it for special effect. As I've said before, your eye and execution is world class in my humble opinion, but don't get too addicted to over-processing, subtle is best.... just saying :)

Andy, I agree I have a tendency to over process. It's the graphic designer in me wanting everything to look like a picture.
