What is it like living in Pitsmoor?

Recommended Posts

I live a few minutes walk from there, if you're Asian you'll be fine.

I lived there for the first 40 years of my life -Burngreave/Ellesmere area- and never had a problem. People will say it's changed since say, the '90s but I talk to people who still live there (60 plus years) and they still like it.

humm thats always a worrying statement.

Along with the usual "full of really genuine people"

shame you have nothing to contribute to the thread

I lived there for 12 years and like you still visit regularly to see friends who love loving there.

It's just fine. Mostly very quiet, considerate folk, great community events, good little shops, and plenty of green spaces, and frequent bus service. Come hang out and see for yourself.

It was great 40 years ago.

It wouldn't be my first choice now sadly.

There was another thread on the same topic quite recently, I suggest you search for it, it was all done to death on there. Potted summary: unpopular with racists.
