I used to know a prostitute. sorry! 'Escort' as she would say.

 

She was absolutely minted so must have done well, she wasn't a typical scraggy drugged up prostitute, she was very attractive actually. Nice lady.

The few of them who are pretty can make a very good living out of it; sadly it's the many who aren't as attractive and are cursed instead with violent family backgrounds and difficult upbringings who end us as the drug-addicted prostitutes that you read of who are violently attacked or killed.

and almost all those are street workers, which this particular establishment is trying to get away from

The city sauna brothel in Attercliffe what a disgrace it is, the documentary on channel 4 tonight showing the prostitutes at work.

Watched first five minutes,and will definitely watch it all tomorrow for the comedy value .

Well I travel the city during the night and often pass the poor girls down on Rutland road and Neepsend and always fear for their safety. Places like City offer a safe place for the girls to be and seemed to be run by "salt of the earth" women and do no harm. I do wonder what the other parlours are like though and if they are run by exploititive people and use trafficked girls. This is why they need to be legal and regulated.

Did the producers ask all the punters to don a flat cap to reinforce the stereotype? Surprised they didn't think to hand them a whippet to tie up outside

I said this to our lass.I don't know anyone that wears a flat cap,yet just about (if not all?)every bloke on the program wore one .

If I see flat cap wearers out and about from now on,I may be inclined to judge them a little differently after watching this program lol.

I knew the guy sat in a chair with his face blurred out the leather hat with the silver kangaroo on the side was a dead give away.
