castleboy   10 #1 Posted October 30, 2014 Here we go again the Owls seeking their 1st win and goal since (:hihi:had to get the record books out for their last win ). The Valley is as good a place as any to put that correct. Of the 28 games played between them this season , they have had only 5 defeats in total, 14 have been draws. So this suggest a close game. Reckon Stuart to make a few changes. It remains to be seen what he does to change the ineffective midfield and striking problems. Hopefully it brings us some points home. Owl. Owl.  Whilst on about changes, I tend to agree with Gazza that starting Stevie May from the bench might be a good idea .You never know he might come on and score, even the winner. But the midfield , something has to change, can't see it happening with the current squad. Someone has to be brought in with some creativity , a box to box type. Owl. castleboy   10 #4 Posted October 30, 2014 I guess it's a midfielder you really need. Any ideas?  Yes Jon you're spot on.For starters the lad we're playing against on Saturday, Johnnie Jackson would do, always involved in game , setting play up and above all a dead ball specialist .:)Owl. Petit Chou   10 #5 Posted October 30, 2014 It should be a close game and the Owls should hold 'em at bay and squeeze a point .. Bit of a lull in their game as of late and changes are needed but .. fingers crossed this might be a turning point. The Owls are sitting pretty mid-table and lets face it, they're only 7 points adrift !  come on
 Share this content via...

Good creative little player.
 Share this content via...

Conor Hourihane (Tykes) watch his progress. Ben Pringle (Millers) Lee Frecklington (Millers) The Owls haven't got anyone near them. Anyone of them would be an instant hit and our strikers would think its their birthdays. trav4 Â Â 10 #10 Posted October 30, 2014 Charlton have just taken a hammering after a good run. Wednesday have a better away record than at home. Looking at it like that it's hard to call. I'm going for a Charlton win.
 Share this content via...
CheekyBandit   10 #11 Posted October 30, 2014 A line from a hymn sung in many churches at this time of year is "We feebly struggle, they in glory shine". It will, therefore, be Wednesday feebly struggling. 6-0 to Charlton.
 Share this content via...
