Yes, I only returned 6 weeks ago, this was my 6th time since leaving in 1972.
Although I have been living in Oz a long time now I still feel that I am an Englishman living in Australia. I know this may seem wrong to a lot of people, but thats how it is for me.
When ever England are playing sport against Australia I always go for England, I just can't change that.

Derek, its time you wised up. I have lived in OZ now for almost 40 years. When ever the Poms play sport against the Aussies, you don't barrack for either, you just say "Isnt it great that we won".

Barley wine, I agree dynamite but I remember the lads drinking it also. yes great times.
have still got 6 babycham bottles of drink in my wall unit from days gone by

most brits in aus feel the same way derek

first time I went there was about 3 years before you ,they didn't have a sense of humour then
they're only just starting to get one now after years of trying to imitate the poms and yanks off tv

as for patriotism they'd leave the N koereans for dead
