Most i've seen on google are a distance away to hire them.

Have you tried a search on Google ? suggest you search for motorhome hire

I emailed a place in Sheffield and they didn't bother to respond to it. Not even a thanks but no thanks!

Hi Pete. Noticed your qoute on here. Went back for a whole year searching for an email from you.
There isn't one there, I don't doubt you sent one but sometimes they dissapear into the ether so sorry I could not reply.
I do try to answer every email but sometimes they don't get delivered and the mailer demon sends them back. So we try the phone but some people do things like fill in their phone number like this 01142234567 and of course there's no way we can get in touch.
