Wanting to donate to local animal rescue centres

I am wanting to fundraiser for a local animal rescue centre. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What about Friends of ferals? they are just a small bunch of volunteers doing the most fantastic work for feral and stray cats, they do such good work for the cats that have nothing and no one, the volunteers work so hard and get none of the backing that the big organisations get.

There is also Rain rescue, who do such wonderful work, for dogs and cats but not only that they have helped loads with a small ferret rescue, they do loads of things behind the scenes that people know nothing about.
