Missing ginger tom S36

Recommended Posts

Our little boy went missing on 15th August. We've searched high and low but no success. He is chipped but not neutered. He must have known , he was booked in for last Friday. He's gone missing from Upper Midhope area, 4 miles west of Stocksbridge. He's ginger with white bib and paws, is 8 months old, chirrups rather than meows (might have learnt to meow / yowl) and has a ginger toe on his front paw. Unlike him to go missing, usually doesn't go far and home every night. He's been gone two weeks, he might have gone anywhere or got into a van. He might be around Stocksbridge, Deepcar, Bolsterstone , Midhopestones, Penistone area, if he is in a 5 mile radius. He's on several facebook groups including Lost and found pets all Sheffield areas , very friendly, we miss him so much.

I live in Stocksbridge and am often around and about your area with our dog so will keep an eye out.

I hope he returns, I also have a ginger tom who has gone wandering before now so I know how you feel :(

Hopefully he's just gone in search of some girl cats and will come home soon.

*** Update ***

Teddy is still missing but we have had possible sightings on Woolley Road area in Stocksbridge, near Stocksbridge leisure centre. A lady did manage to catch him but he wiggled free, she noticed his ginger toe on his front left paw and is sure it is him. There have been a couple of other similar sighting in the same area. Hope fully we'v narrowed down the search area. We've been out today and posted 200 leaflets in that area to add to the posters on lamp posts. We have had some great response so far but it has been for a cat that looks similar to Teddy, unfortunately it's not him. Fingers crossed someone sees and holds him for us soon or he makes his way home. Its about 3 miles away.

Hi , thanks for letting me know. Hopefully it's not him but if it is then we will have closure. Due to the limitations of this site, I can't reply to your private message until I post more. As this is the only thing I want to know and post on, the forum might be of limited use. Thank you very much for your concern. I can open your private message but not reply or initiate one.
