synergyelec   10 #1 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) Hi all,  I am setting on an electrical apprentice. As an employer am I entitled with any funding? My apprentice hasn't been to college or applied with JTL but we will be looking into that within the next couple of months? If any employer who employs an apprentice can give me some advice it will be a big help.  Many thanks in advanced Edited January 5, 2015 by synergyelec oops
 Share this content via...

Mayfield   10 #3 Posted January 22, 2015 Get him registered with JTL who will sort out the funding for you. If the apprentice is over 21 you may still get the funding but will have to pay for the training. We did this 2 years ago so this may have altered. Nekatom   10 #4 Posted January 22, 2015 Ive had grants of £1500 from JTL. Very much needed in 1st few months when the apprentice is not making you any money.
 Share this content via...
