You assumed I missed your point

clumsily, gracelessly, bafflingly, …etc.

arrogantly.

 

I assumed that your point was something along the lines of people trying to express their wonder at life and existence, as well as likely attributing it to some kind of creator god or force, through the mediums of literature, art and architecture.

 

This part of your post: "The link between religion and all three disciplines is very clear to me." seemed (in my opinion) to suggest that such a link lends credibility to the idea of Gods/creators existing .

I was simply pointing out that this link is nothing unique and that you can find the same or similar links between art/literature/architecture and just about anything else.
