Has anyone noticed that none of the political parties promise to do anything regarding plugging the tax avoidance loophole?

Billions in revenue is lost every year due to fat cats and corporates using our flawed tax system.

I seem to remember all major parties were pledging to be harsher on evasion and avoidance at the last election. Indeed I believe some changes have already been made.

I'll believe it when it is plugged altogether, this immoral activity has been going on with the knowledge of all political parties many, many years.

But you would agree that doing something is better than nothing tho I'm sure.

I don't think anyone on here has suggested that socialism causes happiness, or that capitalism causes unhappiness. The debate, as I understand it, is much more nuanced than that.

The man is a complete nutcase . His far left socialism views have no place in modern society.

He's a Tory Plant, like Derek Hatton and Tory Bliar and Benn.

Did you look at the data I found?

 

Denmark has high state spending, but Switzerland is very low and Iceland is pretty average.

So there is no correlation between socialism and happiness.

It was only a passing comment that many of the countries in that list were socialist. They still are. I'll accept that others aren't though.
