Blade73 Â Â 10 #1 Posted July 24, 2012 Do many people use the star rating facility on itunes? Â I never bothered then my mate started to tell me what you can do with Smart playlists etc and I became hooked, decided to rate all the tracks on my itunes nearly 18000 of them, made a point of listening to all the tracks before a rating was given. Think its took nearly 6 months, but I've enjoyed it its made listen to whole albums again instead of individual tracks and listen to stuff I haven't heard for perhaps 20 years. Â Just wonder if there's a way of doing a backup of all the ratings I have given I'd hate to lose them now I've finished!
 Share this content via...

kinetic   10 #5 Posted August 2, 2012 Nothing beats Musicbee - Absolutely amazing Music Management software and totally free.  Point it at your music folder, it will auto-tag everything (but place it in a temporary folder so you check everything is correct before applying the changes), downloads all the album covers, lyrics, etc. syncs with lastfm for artist and album biographies which you can view while listening.  It converts, rips, burns, auto finds duplicates, automatic volume adjustment (per track or album). Try it, you'll be converted!
 Share this content via...
