Advertising Standards upheld a complaint against them:

... and The Office of Fair Trading required them to change unfair terms in their contracts:

Mmm thanks for that, my Mum has been visited by Niagra and had a free trial of the massage machine, she was quite impressed but the products are mega expensive, and in the end the man was a salesman and wasn't all that impressed when she said that she couldn't afford it.

Now my Mum is wanting to buy the product over 3 years, she is 80 this year ... I really would like to know how good this company are and can the products do what they say!

I also wonder if there are other similar products on the market that are much cheaper and do the same job.

I know just what you mean and mum is getting a bit confused now and vulnerable.

This could be a perfectly reputable company, but my Mum has come to the age now where she has been taken advantage of a few times by less than honorable people, who prey on the elderly and the ones less able to argue their case and understand what is happening.

3 Years interest free, payment protection... you are joking of course

Hi - well I may add that Niagara Therapy does work and there is various clinical evidence to suggest as such.

The Cycloid Vibration therapy that they offer is Certified by the MHRA - Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency - which is an executive agency of the Department of Health set up to safeguard users of medicines and medical equipment from risk ... by making sure that medicines and medical products are effective and are safe.

So the manufacturers claims are backed up by clinical data.

I use the therapy myself and know others who do so, with good results. It can vary from person to person - of course, like anything I guess - and does what it says on the tin.

When it comes to cost - that is a very personal thing ... i.e. what one says is expensive, another may consider vital and so the cost is immaterial. What price do you put on your pain/comfort and mobility .... it's a tough one to answer unless you are faced with such a decision to make about your own health and/or bank balance
