Peaks Guy   10 #14 Posted September 22, 2014 bit more info, there is an uneven tick over , it drops down to 800 rpm, then back up to 1000   Literally it could be all of the above. Like others have said its almost impossible to give a definable answer. Far to many variables. Best bet is to hawk it around a few garages and get independent advice from a few different mechanics.  Most good ones will have a quick look for free and then maybe you can finalize the given problem. Good luck!!
 Share this content via...
shanes teeth   10 #15 Posted September 22, 2014 It could be something as daft as a plug lead not on properly but diagnosing it on a forum would be near impossible,it would be guess work. how does it run when driven?  Doesn't usually stop people. On any subject. alchresearch   214 #18 Posted September 23, 2014 The coil pack is a common fail part on the 206. If you want a proper diagnostic with equipment designed just for Peugeot vehicles that can interrogate the engine's live data and not just blindly read fault codes give me a shout.
