monzaman   324 #3 Posted December 22, 2014 Both sheffield clubs seem to take good away crowds down London,I know lads who support millwall,QPR and brentford and they all say that both our teams always take loads down.I guess we just like a neet out in the capital. There is official SWFC confirmation that over 5,000 went through the turnstiles at Craven Cottage. A huge well done to the travelling hordes. ? Owl. Sunderland, for example, I'd bet that Sunderland could have taken at least three times that amount to Newcastle.
 Share this content via...

Wednesdays match report comments are not official figures, I can't see how they can possibly know how many owls went in the neutral area, over a thousand seems a lot to me to be fair logistically it would have involved a lot of transport etc, however it's not a thread to nit pick so lets just congratulate those who went because by any standard this is good support. I just can't imagine either United or Wednesday limiting each other in that way, I know they both have fantastic season ticket sales and space must be limited but that low amount of space for visitors must mean that they get an inordinate amount of away fans in the home sections.
