Hi Jennyren, they were called Ethal (right) Grayson and Edna Stone. They worked at the Beehive Works and not at the Globe Works as stated in my previos post.

they was always emaculate when they went out.

they looked loverly.they used to scare me a bit tho till i got to no them ..

Edna was my Nan and Ethel my Aunt, unfortunately they are no longer with us. They worked at Beehive Works untill they where both in there mid 80's. They actually made a short documentary in the late 80's early 90's that featured Beehive Works and my Nan and Aunty Eth.

 

They where mirror pollishers.

Yes, they went in The Domino regularly,

I'm not sure, after all these years, which one was Ethel and which was Edna but one of them was married to a bloke called Lol - a very smart looking bloke.
