TopHole   10 #37 Posted January 30, 2016 Fair play to you for bothering to stick up for your neighbours against the idiots. A few suggestions would be as follows  A) Get a confirmation of this in writing. B) Object to it on the entirely sensible basis you outlined on here in writing. C) Send both to your MP with a covering letter expressing your concern at this crazy situation.  Once you have those in writing you've got a load of media options to run with if they don't back down. 'Crazy Eurocrats and their town hall friends ban local gardeners santa' or whatever.  Thanks Quik, I like the suggestion of getting SCC to put their objections in writing, then there's no wriggle room for them. Then I can take it from there, be that MP's, the local councilor who isn't labour and/or the press.  I know it might seem like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill over this, but this sort of petty bureaucracy really makes me mad.  I've had mattresses and tyres dumped on my land before, and SCC's told me that's my problem, so it feels like I can't win.
