Dog walking/puppy socialisation in Aughton/Swallownest/Aston area

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have a cocker spaniel puppy who is 14 weeks old and is now able to go out on walks - finally! He's met a lot of people at home and is super friendly but is still a bit nervous with strangers on walks and hasn't really met any other dogs yet, so we are wanting to get him well socialised.

Is there anyone here in the Aughton/Swallownest/Aston area who has either a puppy also in need of socialisation or a dog who they know to be good with puppies - or know of any walking groups in the area?

Thanks!

We have a new rescue Gsd and plan to get along to the Rother Valley Agility / Obedience on Sunday Mornings once we get to know each other better - they meet at 10am at The Lawn near the cafe and you can park near Direct Cars for free and walk in

Rother Valley has a lot of dogs but a nice wide path if you want to avoid anything

Alternatively, there must be patches of grass around you local dog walkers go? I take our rescue for his morning constitutional and we now have a few regular playmates
