johnsbucket 10 #1 Posted November 13, 2015 Those wizardry poets with their rhyming words, A real mish mash of nouns and verbs, Some comic geniuses’ with their chosen subjects, Each has a style they try to perfect, Often in their words they are sharing a life experience, Can be related to by many like a strange coincidence, Lines delivered in a poignant often sensitive way, Some leave others wiping tears away, Politically correct does not have to be suffice, With words of wisdom and words of advice, Then the satirical with their amusing points of view, Remembering one about something stuck to a shoe, For some it just passes the time of day, With words and sentences they set out to play, Harmless and sometimes without intent, Someone’s pride takes a little dent, A critical eye may provoke a remark, From someone hiding in the dark, A thought to keep you writers smitten, It just takes only one person to appreciate, what is written. johnsbucket
 Share this content via...
Ron Blanco 10 #2 Posted November 14, 2015 Hello johnsbucket, I liked the idea of a critical eye provoking a comment from someone in the dark. And agree with the ultimate sentiment of the poem. Thanks
 Share this content via...
