Tough game this and don't think this will be straight forward. We're going to have to be at our best to win this. Other strikers need to start chipping in with the goals.

We need to be winning this though they seem better away than at home, could be a park the bus job from the visitors

I expect no less than another 3 points and our 4th consecutive win.

We have shown ourselves to have grit and determination these last few games but we have kicked on til the end and won all three. In our last outing we saw some really decent football in the second half and I thoroughly expect us to replicate this tomorrow against a team who lets admit it, should be a gimme anyway!

Billy and the duffmeister are in really rich form, we have knocked in 8 goals in our last 3 games and I don't think Northampton will be able to keep those two at bay and the gaffer can have a jar tomorrow night comfortably knowing he licked his old employers with his beloved Blades!

Freeman got some important goals for us this season.

Northampton believe it or what were probably one of the best sides to come to BDTBL this year which is bizarre because of where they sit in the league. In the first half they started equally as fresh as us and the deserve a great deal of credit for having a go, granted they didn't overly bother us at the business end but they did look to create things which made the first half an attacking end to end affair.

As the game went on and in particular the second half, our midfield began to get on top as they usually do and we began to strangle the opposition out of the game. We closed to ball down a lot quicker and controlled possession which allowed us to push on and create more chances.

Had we not scored the late goal then it is easy to say that I would have felt robbed as we were terrific value for the win in the end. We hit the woodwork a couple of times and the Northampton goalkeeper earned a pint or two this evening with some cracking saves.

It was a completely different 45 minutes for Northampton who like I said deserve credit for coming to Bramall Lane and trying to have a pop at us. In the second half as we took a grip on the game, obviously the opposition had to adapt and gradually drifted deeper whilst looking on the odd occasion to catch us on the break.

Freeman has made up for a couple of mediocre performances of late but he was much improved today and bagged the winner as a result.

Would have liked the goal to have come earlier but it wasn't through lack of effort.....I counted 4 clear cut opportunities that would have gone in had it not been for the woodwork and keeper.

Well deserved.......4 games unbreaten.....Top of the league.....Happy as larry

Yes we do need another striker. Good to see Freeman on the score sheet but need a bit more dimension. Trouble is, you don't want to upset the apple cart.
