Nankypoo   10 #73 Posted December 19, 2016 I've had a quick whip through the thread and as far as I can see I'm amazed no one's mentioned the one solo that sticks with me, while others change. Eric Clapton's solo in Creams Crossroads beats the lot.Though Neil Youngs in Like a Hurricane already mentioned also takes some beating. TORONTONY Â Â 10 #74 Posted December 29, 2016 Love is The Law - Seahorses. Â This one is not as weird as it may sound,. Check out Vince Gill doing Oklahoma Borderline. He is way more than just another country singer.
 Share this content via...

blake   10 #76 Posted December 30, 2016 there's so many so can't suggest just one.  Frank Zappa's Watermelon in Easter Hay might just be what I played at my funeral although I would want the annoying voice-over introduction deleted :  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUja5B8ei2U  showy as it is, it's just a little pompous that song, but Zappa was brilliant and had he been born 20 years earlier he would have been a specialist jazz musician. He could have played any instrument to a very high level. Not just the guitar he was primarily associated with the way it turned out for him.  then again maybe I'll request Charlie Christian's Swing to Bop instead. Punchy, direct and to the point, and with Charlie Parker written all over it :
 Share this content via...
