Riders wanted for motorbike escort Stocksbridge 06/05/17

Sharing to hopefully reach some of the bikers on here. I didn't know him personally, but I like to try and help out where I can, especially in such sad cicrumstances.

REQUEST TO ALL MOTORCYCLISTS FOR SAM PICKERING'S FINAL RIDE

A final ride is being organised for Sheffield man Sam Pickering who died on his way to a charity event for a children's hospital.

Sam Pickering, 20, is thought to have lost control of his Yamaha motorbike in Oughtibridge on Sunday.

He was on his way to the bikers' charity egg run for Sheffield Children's Hospital when he crashed.

Sam's final ride will take place on Saturday 6th May from Stocksbridge to Grenoside Crem. We will gather from 0930 at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge S36 2AB. Departing 1030 sharp in order to meet with the hurst as it comes down the hill from the family home, arriving at Grenoside for 1100. PLEASE SHARE as we would like as many bikes & trikes to attend as possible. Thank you.

The wife and I come back late Friday night but we're going to try very hard to make this. We were on the egg run.
