Live in a bunker?

Recommended Posts

BBC News reports http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-39459915 that an old RAF bunker is coming up (going down?) for sale. But, to quote a phrase, who'd live in a home like this? Not many Wombles in Lindholme, even though the price estimate is low! Yes, other bunkers are available. See SF threads about:

This is a very small bunker in comparison, there are loads of big ex cold war bunkers around the country as Jeff pointed towards . Some of these owned by farmers, others have become privately owned or are even listed buildings. I was actually in a rotor bunker near York in the 1970s, this had a surface guard house, the guard house looked just like a bungalow. http://www.subbrit.org.uk/rsg/sites/g/goldsborough/ Here are a few examples of others. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2876325/Last-Cold-War-relics-Britain-s-secret-nuclear-bunkers-turned-houses-vets-surgeries-recording-studio-laser-tag-arena-half-demolished.html
