Is the Woodhead Pass closed?

Recommended Posts

Got to go to Manchester airport tonight, does anybody know if Woodhead is open?

If it is I would still go on the M62/M60 - there is much more snow forecast for later. The Met Office has not long issued a severe weather warning for all of Yorkshire.

We don't want to be calling you a pillock when we see you stuck in a drift on the news :)

Manchester Airport is open but no doubt quite a few flights will either be delayed or cancelled.

We had to do the same last night. No question about doing the m62. Was scary as hell but a steady 45/50 all the way. No snow here at the mo so hopefully no flight delays.
