Val Doonican - fallen off his stool

Recommended Posts

Veteran crooner Val Doonican has died at the age of 88.

A mainstay and stalwart of Saturday night television back in the day.

Not like the nonsense and telephone-voting obsessed tosh we get today.

- A genuine entertainer, RIP.

(When I was seven, I had a jumper like he's wearing, but mine was brown)

Yet another great singer leaves us, there's not many left fron the era of great crooners..Tony Bennett, Vic Damone are two still around, there a dying breed..

Val was very popular when i was a child, not flashy like the rest of them but a fine voice
