I can remember what i did forty-odd years ago, and our post codes for the properties where I have lived over 43 years, and what bus you caught to which districst when I was a kid... but ask me what I had for breakfast:- phfft! no chance! my short-term memory is shot!

There where also early morning workers busses on some of the routes. They tended to be prefixed with a 7.

I remember specifically 769 and 732

206/207 also ran to Dinnington, by various routes. 208 ALSO ran to Dinnington, by yet another route, but wasn't run by SYPTE.

260, Sheffield - Westfield: 261, Sheffield - Killamarsh: 262, Sheffield - Eckington. Used to be my buses home. Later replaced by the X51 and X52, which were in turn replaced by the 21 route.

And you're right. Routes 1-99 were routes within the (old) city limits - apart from non-SYPTE buses like the 53 to Mansfield, 85 to Worksop; routes 100-199 were Rotherham buses; routes 200-299 were Sheffield buses than across the boundary.
