mcleod   10 #1 Posted October 9, 2015 I was the last ever Page Boy probably in Sheffield I worked at the Royal Victoria Hotel from 1968 to the late 70s and I started as a page on the front hall under the watch full eye of Little Mac and my co worker Graham Middleton, I progressed to the dining room as a commis waiter eventually becoming a station waiter, banqueting waiter ,wine waiter and then being transferred in the summer months to Kyle of Lochalsh in the highlands as railway hotels we could be transferred to any railway hotel we wanted to in the summer, young and carefree had some great times with many people and served some many famouse people Alfred Hitchcock being one of them ,so if you worked at the Grand ,hallam, or Grosvenor share your story Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
