Norfolk Park/City Road Area

What is this area like now, there's some recent house developments near aren't they?

I used to live in the Student Village a number of years ago so my memories are somewhat hazy - I also remember being told it was 'the last year' students would live there.

I'm just mulling over the idea of moving and thought this is worth considering being so close to the city centre.

Does anyone live there/near - any comments?

City road is fine, bar the obvious traffic noise etc. Plenty of shops and takeaways, 24hr petrol station. don't forget it's a clearway at certain times though.

As for Norfolk Park, the area is a lot quieter than it used to be, i wouldn't be adverse to living there.

Yes, Norfolk Park is not that bad. Houses are spaced out and even the Council houses seem to be ok. I would prefer City Road end (St Aidans) if it was to be a Council House.
