Can anyone answer me this simple question before I go toilet seat hunting myself?

One of the hinges has broken on my toilet seat. This is an ideal standard toilet - Do I need to buy a special Ideal Standard replacement seat or would a bog standard one do??

Apparently you can get adjustable ones now, specifically with ladies in mind.

As time goes by the seat will expand with the user.

I have the same problem! I have tried loads of places to get a seat like the one you are searching for. Whatever make or design seat i have tried, it wobbles about so I have to lift up the seat and sit directly on the pot! - not very comfy!

Tricky little blighters toilet seats. Keep falling down when you are having a pee, and trap your parts.

Best bet is to put superglue all over the seat. It works a treat.
