TrashyBook   10 #14 Posted April 28, 2008 I think this is the sort of thing you need - with a solid bar between the hinges.  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toilet-Seat-Mohogany_W0QQitemZ380021801252QQihZ025QQcategoryZ37637QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
 Share this content via...

Jane123 Â Â 10 #16 Posted September 9, 2009 Can anyone answer me this simple question before I go toilet seat hunting myself? One of the hinges has broken on my toilet seat. This is an ideal standard toilet - Do I need to buy a special Ideal Standard replacement seat or would a bog standard one do?? Gripper Stebson   10 #17 Posted September 9, 2009 Apparently you can get adjustable ones now, specifically with ladies in mind. As time goes by the seat will expand with the user.
 Share this content via...

MonkeyLover   10 #19 Posted September 9, 2009 I have the same problem! I have tried loads of places to get a seat like the one you are searching for. Whatever make or design seat i have tried, it wobbles about so I have to lift up the seat and sit directly on the pot! - not very comfy! Bigthumb   10 #20 Posted September 9, 2009 lol tried it strix and even that doesn't work.  Tricky little blighters toilet seats. Keep falling down when you are having a pee, and trap your parts.  Best bet is to put superglue all over the seat. It works a treat.
