How many signings make play off team?

Recommended Posts

Whilst we are a few points and places better off I can't help thinking if everyone was fit none of our new signings would make the starting 11.

My play-off team would be

westwood

Pudil

Hunt

Lees

Loovens

Bannan

Hutchinson

Wallace

Lee

Hooper

forestieri

I find it odd that none of the new signings have done well enough to get into a first team (in my opinion) and I suspect we'd be playing the same team as last year.

Just wondering how many new signings get into your starting line up.

It depends where your starting point is for a "new signing" FF is not fully fit, an in-form Rhodes would have to be in and Fletcher on current form.

Personally I'd have Hooper out of the two if both fit to play with Fletcher on the bench!

New singings would be this season and the likes of:

Fox

Jones

Mcmannaman

Rhodes

Urby

Winnall

Fletcher

Buckley

Reach

There's also a few more from last season on the periphery and I'm surprised none of these have made the breakthrough to get a starting place (in my eyes others will disagree).

To be fair when we signed these players it was acknowleged that most were being bought as back (except Rhodes) to the core of the team that finished last season.

Not sure who from last years team you'd drop for them.

FF is in my opinion far more effective than both and we've improved since Hooper came back so I wouldn't want him dropping.

Forestieri isn't fit enough to start games according to CC..

Fletcher is scoring goals and deserves a place....

Rhodes up against his old club...due a goal to compliment his grafting for the team...

Hooper unlikely to play in either of the Huddersfield games..

Who'd be a manager..?:hihi:

We won't be playing same team as last year, Hull have already been promoted

Fletcher's done alright recently, the partnership that I'd prefer would be Hooper and Rhodes but we haven't seen much of them together, they looked alright at QPR.

Even if we went with the same lineup as last year, what we do have now is a much stronger bench - in last season's final we brought on Jeremy Helan to try and rescue the game! Now it could be Reach, Winnall, Rhodes, etc.
