Derelict buildings in Sheffield.

Recommended Posts

Looking to find old derelict buildings so that I can take photos of then and find old photos to match. Doe's anyone know of any old buildings or grave yards that have been forgotten?

Probably the best one would be the Old Town Hall. There's a site somewhere on You Tube dedicated to old buildings where they go in and film the dereliction, can't think of its name, but it should come up if you put in 'Discovering old buildings' or some similar terms.

Thank you Yorkshire 53. I think I will have to make a call to the council to see if I can get in. Thanks.

Perhaps not forgotten but Wardsend cemetery (Owlerton area) was a bit dilapidated unless they tidied it up.

You may find the cemetery on Attercliffe Road, opposite Worksop Road, very interesting. There's also quite a few old buildings close by.
