stpetre   12 #25 Posted May 10, 2017 (edited) Probably because the rooms that is in are clearly old and were partly left as they were when it opened. It has the feel of being traditional.  Thank you and I was never in 'The Tap' but spent many a winters morning around 7am waiting for the train to Chesterfield 1965-66 in the British Rail tea room which became the pub.
