Can anyone remember the name of the old couple that owned the curtain stall in the sheaf market.

The only person i can remember selling curtains in the Sheaf market was a guy called Bill Mcarthur and he did it for many years. The stall did not belong to him but it could have been owned by the old couple in mention

There was also Ledger's. Think maybe they sold curtain fabric rather than ready-made curtains though.

Dawson Fabrics?

If so, they used to have a shop at the corner of Charles and Pinstone Street as well.
