Trying to find Allan Jones

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find Allan Jones who was born in 1943 in Sheffield and/or Gordon Jones born in 1936 in Sheffield. Is there anyone out there who might be able to help, please.

It's amazing how quickly these posts can go from the first page to the third. Anyway, still stuck on this branch of my family tree and hoping I can find Allan Jones who may know something which will unravel the whole problem for me. So if you think you might know him please do get in touch.

Hi bullerboY,

Did he have a brother named Gordon who was older? Don't suppose you know what happened to him or where he might be living now? With a name like Jones there are so many options that I really could do with narrowing the search down a bit. Who did he marry - that would help.

saw in one of the free papers man called Allen Jones originally from Southey area now working at advice centre in Chapeltown. As Morgan Ave is in Southey and he was retired could this be your man?
