Painters for sash windows

I know this would normally be in the property section, but I'm hoping for as many responses as possible - hence posting in General.

We've recently had some sash windows fitted. They're primed but need painting properly. Does anyone know of any painters who they'd recommend to do them? I've spoken to a couple of decorators who seemed reluctant to do them as apparently they're very time consuming... I'd do them myself, but I know I'd end up painting them shut!

My advice would be to look through the recommended tradesmen thread then call a couple of people in to quote.
