Saddler   10 #1 Posted September 8, 2009 I have tried for years now to get a window cleaner to clean our windows. (The last one was a "fraudster") I must have asked at least 4 of them to clean them and they all take a sharp inward gasp of breath and then decline stating it's too high. WHAT is their career skill if they can't handle heights (only about up to 25 ft) I hate heights and will pay them but are all Sheffield window cleaners "pussies". They can't put their lader legs anywhere. (so they say) HELP
 Share this content via...

(so they say) HELP  At a guess, from what you've provided, i'd wager that the offending window is higher than the average 3-stage ladder.  I'm sure that Yellow Pages must contain adverts for WCs that specialise in heights jobs, perhaps they have access to a cherry picker or something. It will probs cost you significantly more for the equipment/risk but that's the price you pay for having high windows I guess  Someone isn't a "pussy" for not wanting to take unneccesary risks
 Share this content via...

Minimo   59 #9 Posted September 8, 2009 I'd love to find a window cleaner. Unfortunately my last window cleaner 'sacked' me for daring to complain that he had missed one of my windows (which he had, not once but several times).
