Reason for Rehome / Sale: her human is elderly and has had to go into care, leaving the poor cat bereft

Time Scale – How Urgent?: sooner rather than later but we will wait for the right home

Has the Cat ever been in Rescue: no - 8 Lives rescue are helping to rehome but she is not in rescue with us

Location: Sheffield S8

Age & Sex: about 10 years old, female

Vaccinated & Wormed: Yes

Neutered & Micro chipped: YES

Breed/ Mix: gorgeous moggie

Colour/markings: tortie and white

Long/Shorthaired: short

Live in / Or in and out: she's been used to being able to go out but normally just potters around the garden and comes back

Used to a cat flap: not sure - don't think so

Ever lived with other cats/dogs/other animals: no - she's been used to living with an elderly couple and more recently with one elderly lady

Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues: not aware of any health issues, however she is grieving the loss of her humans

Temperament: gentle, loving, loyal

OK with Dogs / Cats: not sure - she's not been used to sharing a home with others

Can the Cat be picked up and put in a basket without risk of scratching: yes

Can the Cat be groomed without risk of scratching: yes

Good or Bad with Children: not being used to them

Dislike of Men or Women: no - just desperate for any lap to sit on

Housetrained: yes

This girl's mum has very sadly had to go into a care home, leaving her feeling lost and alone. She's a quiet, gentle and very loving cat who doesn't go far from home. Over the last few years she was her mum's lifeline when mum lost her husband. Now puss has lost her mum and badly needs someone to step in and be a lifeline for her.

She'd ideally like another quiet home where the humans are around quite a bit to give her the love and attention she's been used to and to help her get over the loss of her mum.
