JamieLeigh.   10 #1 Posted July 28, 2016 Are there any doggy day cares around s5 as I'm looking into it been an option for my 9 month old rottie for when I'm on longer shifts at work  Thanks
 Share this content via...
mrsmontague   10 #2 Posted July 28, 2016 Cassies dog groomers on Foxhill rd take care of dogs, but I think its only during the day. They have facilities, and individual areas for each dog. I take my doggies there to be groomed, and they are very careing.
 Share this content via...

jaycee331 Â Â 10 #4 Posted August 9, 2016 I noticed that the doggy den used to have a big "recommended by the RSPCA" logo on their website. Â It's not there any more. I wonder what that tells us...?
 Share this content via...
feilnoster   10 #5 Posted August 10, 2016 (edited) I noticed that the doggy den used to have a big "recommended by the RSPCA" logo on their website. It's not there any more. I wonder what that tells us...?  I don't recall ever seeing that on their website. They used to advertise that they were the only dog day care and socialisation centre that was licensed by Sheffield City Council but don't recall ever seeing anything about the RSPCA. monkeygirl   10 #6 Posted August 10, 2016 i guess doggy den can't say that now as there are loads of places that offer doggy day care and are licensed by the council - they have to be licensed by the council. if you do a google search you will find some. it's also sometimes worth phoning dog boarding places and ask if they do day care. more and more are because people are becoming more aware of how some dogs don't cope well with being left all day.  i take my dog to mutlins at graylands and he loves it - but i know they are pretty fully booked
 Share this content via...

teeny   10 #8 Posted August 10, 2016 I am not sure the RSPCA do endorse businesses unless that business sponsors them !
 Share this content via...

carmichaelg8 Â Â 10 #10 Posted November 24, 2016 the RSPCA and Doggy Den do still work together. I rescued a dog from there very recently and they suggested doggy den to help socialise her as she was very very nervous. They've done wonders!
