Chazndave   10 #1 Posted June 5, 2014 Hi. My mum lost her best friend this morning. I have made a poem. Never done anything like this before so it wont be perfect from a writers point of view but i would like an opinion before i show it her. They were friends for over 30yrs.   Over the years our friendship grew, friends like us are far and few. We laughed most days, our children grew, our lives faced changes and challenges too. I remember the drinks we shared and the parties we had, the only tears to show were from laughing, happy not sad. Memories cant be taken away, locked safe in our hearts and here to stay. As I share our memories and laugh at our past, I will always remember no matter where you are our friendship carries on, it grew to last.  If you can think of anyway to improve it let me know. All the poems online were really sad, i wanted her to have something that mentioned all the fun times and laughs!
 Share this content via...
