Can't receive tiscali emails in Outlook.com

Recommended Posts

I cannot receive my Tiscali emails in outlook, and have been missing them apparently since Dec.

I still receive my Hotmail ones via outlook.

Tiscali has apparently had an update failure on the connected accounts tab, but entering the password does nothing - there isn't even an update or send button.

thanks!

Didn't they shut down all the tiscali e-mails a while back?

I think my parents had to migrate from them as their new owners wanted rid of it all.

Don't think so, geared - I'm an ex-Tiscali customer (having started with Tinyworld) and I still have access to all 3 email accounts via webmail.

I set family emails up (but I don't use Outlook as it is not a 'real' mail client) and only have two out of the five available that are active - I think it was non-active ones that have stopped.

Microsoft being characteristically vague:

A Microsoft spokesperson told The Register: "We are aware of reports that some users are having difficulty signing in to some services. We are investigating this issue."

Updated to add

Microsoft said it has "resolved" the problems that caused the outage.
