Writing a Novel Workshop – Creating scenes Using dialogue, thought and

Recommended Posts

The next in our series of novel writing workshops is coming up on 12th of November. Here's the blurb:

How do you convey your characters feelings, thoughts and emotions in a convincing way? This workshop will help you to decide when (and how) to create scenes by understanding when to 'show' or 'evoke', and when it's okay to 'tell' or 'inform'. We'll help you to craft realistic and revelatory dialogue that helps to advance your story and deepen your characters. This workshop is suitable for anyone writing or considering writing a novel, whether you've finished a draft, or whether you're still in the early stages of planning your characters and story. Cost for the day (10.30 to 4.30) £45
