Catmanblue   10 #1 Posted April 30, 2016 We have an end of terrace house in Crookesmoor and the path by the side of the house is made of large yorkshire stone slabs. These are very uneven and we need to get them lifted and relayed. I have contacted a couple of firms and they both suggest lifting and tarmacing the area. I think this will ruin the look of the house and also not be convenient to do so as the pathway is the access to the rear row of terraces. Can anyone suggest a company who can do this? I have looked on line and there looks like there is a machine you can higher which vacuum sucks on to the slab to lift it. The house is owned by us and let to students, it is not in a conservation area and is not a HMO
 Share this content via...
