Bonzo77 Â Â 13 #1 Posted April 23, 2017 The far right........Make St George's day a bank holiday now! Â Jeremy Corbyn, I'll make St George's day a bank holiday along with all the other Patron St day in the UK. Â Far right........wait, what?! Â I've noticed very little moaning about today not being a bank holiday. Amazing how quickly people can change there minds If only people based their political beliefs on policy rather than personality! Guest   #3 Posted April 23, 2017 Corbyn might as well promise free unicorns for everyone, as their existence is about as likely as Labour's chance of getting in.
 Share this content via...
Jacktari   10 #4 Posted April 23, 2017 load of crap anyway, hes not even english  St Patrick wasn't Irish, but that doesn't stop them.  ---------- Post added 23-04-2017 at 12:30 ----------  Corbyn might as well promise free unicorns for everyone, as their existence is about as likely as Labour's chance of getting in.  That's why May is promising unending misery, as she seems confident of getting in. but why may is considered better than Corbyn is surprising. She is a complete and utter flippertygibett.
 Share this content via...
El Cid   210 #5 Posted April 23, 2017 An excellent policy, more holidays. Since most people do not go to any sort of church, having our holidays based on religion is old hat.
 Share this content via...
Guest sibon   #6 Posted April 23, 2017 (edited) An excellent policy, more holidays. Since most people do not go to any sort of church, having our holidays based on religion is old hat.  I don't go to the bank either. So why base holidays on that? muddycoffee   10 #11 Posted April 23, 2017 I've been saying for years that we should have more bank holidays as we only have 8 now it is one of the lowest in any country in the developed world.  I wouldn't necessarily ask for 4, I'd prefer it if we had another 2 making it 10.  Knowing the Tories, I bet they U turn and offer 2 more bank holidays because it is a reasonable idea and they have been cherry picking labour's policies over the last few years.
