Fleas ARGH Someone help?

Recommended Posts

Can someone please give me some help, I'm tearing my hair out over fleas!

I adopted a 3rd chi back in May, and I haven't been able to shift these fleas on her since. I've done everything possible, tried several flea drops/tablets/flea baths etc and still shes got them.....

Where have they come from? Its like they are immune to everything!

I've washed the beds, I've hoovered the floors, and the stairs, I've swept all the floors, I don't know what else I can do

Diatomaceous earth.

Will kill them just by being a very good desiccant, no pesticides involved. You can rub it into her fur (careful with how it's dusted as it's a breathing irritant for both of you) and also use it dusted as a one of rubbed into the carpet and cracks in the room, furniture and wherever else, leave for a good few hours and then vacuum out again.

tea tree shampoo kills the little buggers, get some of the really good house flea spray from the vets and watch them die as well as every other insect in the house

The joins between floor and skirting board, joins in between panels and seams in furniture are still an issue with a hard floor. Inside the seams of sofas can be really hard to eradicate fleas from.

You can get DE from many raw feeding shops, or Ebay, Amazon etc.

I'd get the food grade stuff for use on the animals.

I always use Indorex, it stops the breeding cycle of the fleas. I buy it online from an online company called Viovet. Orders are generally delivered in two working days and postage is free on orders over £29.
