NEW WALKERS ALWAYS WELCONE

Description

This is a relatively easy going 4.5/5 mile walk taking us 1.45/2 hours. Starting from Dore train Station on Abbeydale Road, we will be walking through Ecclesall Woods to Abbey Lane and then through Beauchief Golf Course back to the station. Afterwards we will visit the Wagon and Horses pub on Abbeydale Road for a social drink,

Meeting point: Dore Railway Station

Parking: Dore Railway Station Car Park and surrounding side streets.

Refreshments and Toilets: None on route, pub afterwards

Public transport: 97 and 98 buses run along Abbeydale Road.
