Sheff6er   10 #5 Posted July 26, 2006 How did the discus get on with the other fish? Didn't think you could keep them with tetra's and the like?
 Share this content via...
kate55 Â Â 10 #6 Posted July 26, 2006 The discus was fine with the other fish, kept him self to himself. It was doller that was the problem as he used to attack discus alot. The doller is also eating any small neons we put in the tank.
 Share this content via...

astraman   10 #8 Posted July 26, 2006 Hi, me and the GF have 3 tanks set up at the mo. One community tank with mainly tetras and gouramis. One community tank with various barbs and small cichlids. One bigger tank with 2 red tiger oscars (about 8 - 10") and a large plec.  I might be looking to rehome the oscars in the near future, if anyone is interested in them. I have one community tank and looking to set up a smaller cold water tank.  Are there any other fish keepers on here?   Hi there!  Me and my boyfriend are just starting out keeping tropical fresh-water fish...we've got the tank but no fish yet! We were just wondering if anyone could recommend the best place to go and buy some fish? We've got a car so don't mind travelling a bit if need be... Thanks very much! kate55 Â Â 10 #10 Posted July 31, 2006 We get our fish from Elm Lane. I forget the name of the shop but its opposite the fire station. The guy is really good there and very helpful in advising what fish go together and what not to put in with certain fish.
 Share this content via...
