R.I.P John Lever (The Chameleons)

Died yesterday apparently

That's a shame.

Their first three albums were classics and I used to live within sight of the tower on the cover of Script of the Bridge.

I also remember going to a wedding reception where either the bride or groom chose In Shreds as part of the playlist. The marriage didn't last long.

Tragic news. John was a terrific drummer and member of The Chameleons, Sun and the Moon, Weaveworld, ChameleonsVox and the Red-sided Garter Snakes, all of whom have created wonderful music. What a legacy! R.I.P. and Thank You.
