Edison's (they are a Social Enterprise) which is just to the right of the Cathedral (if you were looking at the Cathedral with your back to the tram stop) or the cafe within the Cathedral.

Both do Gluten Free food/cake and snacks and both a nice setting :)

I go to ' The Foodhall ' on Matilda St. You can pay what you feel. And has an artsy feel to it.:)

For coffee I would go for the steam yard (love the kronuts) or tamper.

Food I would try Piccolos on Convent Walk.

Cello in Greenhill village is certainly worth a try. Busy little place with a wide ranging menu from poached eggs with smoked salmon ( yummy), pulled pork on brioche (delish) & their cheesecake is a must!!!!!!!! They also do regular bistro nights.
