And the Next Football boss to be sacked/resign is ..

Recommended Posts

I feel a bit sorry for Karanka. It was always going to be tough for Boro and they can't buy a goal atm.

Over nxt few wks I can see a few more Managers getting sack , Not many English managers coming Thru ive noticed

No many English managers in general in the Premier League.

Look at other countries top division and the number of foreign managers there:

Dutch : 2 Foreign managers

Italian: 4 Foreign managers

Spanish: 6 Foreign managers

French: 7 Foreign managers (1 from a French overseas colony)

German: 9 Foreign managers

English: 11 Foreign managers (+3 from Wales/Scotland)

Foreign is better we all know that. Just ask Birmingham City fans ;)

We've a few young coaches coming through, Gary Monk is working miracles at Leeds (the main one being hes still in a job). But a significant chunk of our ex pros head straight for the comfy and secure spot of the punditry sofa, or even going for academy roles where they can make a difference because theyll be there for more than 9 months.

He might as well watch it from a beach in Barbados for all the good he does.

The guy is/was a terrible manager.

Mclaren has always been a failure because of his own success.

He does well at a team and then moves on to something better that he is not good enough for.

As a manager, I don't think he is bad at all. He just makes terrible decisions, and going back to Derby certainly was another.

Gianfranco Zola resigns as Birmingham boss- no surprise though.

I thought he was going to get fired but given the owners made the stupid decision to sack Rowlett and employ Zola, it was probably better he resigned.

Dave Jones binned at Hartlepool after Jeff Stelling rant (or maybe because of Jeff Stelling rant?). Second bottom behind a resurgent Newport, they look doomed anyway.

Could turn out to be a very costly mistake by Birminghams owners, the old adage if it ain't broke don't fix it springs to mind, could quite easily be in L1 next season.

Leeds have said they wanted to extend his contract, but Monk didn't want to know.Maybe he's been sounded out by a club.

Norwich may be his next job or would he be tempted to pick up the poisoned chalice at Sunderland.
